The Firm

Mar-Consult, Maritime Solicitors Office was established in 1990 by Advocate Przemyslaw Anders. The firm was virtually the first Polish law firms focusing on shipping business. While its founder retired in 1999, leadership of the firm was taken by Krzysztof P. Kochanowski, attorney-at-law. The firm continues its involvement in widely conceived shipping business, offering legal assistance to both domestic and foreign clients.

Presently Mar-Consult co-operates with number of recognized international law firms, as well as shipping companies, insurers, maritime agents and P&I Clubs.

Nowadays Mar-Consult still remains a small, niche law firm operating on certain areas of law. We try to handle the problems in a pragmatic manner. A swift compromise is preferred over a long lasting procedural battle. We always attempt to solve the problems in the most costs effective way. Due to specific concept of the firm we are able to have a individual contact with our clients and are we able to work against moderate rates.
